Cayley, AB F2 Tornado of June 29, 1986

Okotoks - High River - Claresholm


Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 12:00 pm MDT. There were two tornadoes on this day, the other being:

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F2 tornado touched down at 6:15 pm MDT in Cayley, AB. The tornado travelled for 100 metres and had a maximum width of 10 metres. The tornado caused $130 thousand dollars in property damage.
