'Big dark funnel' leaves path of damage, snaps trees & tears apart houses, barns
Touching down at 8:00pm, witnesses observed the tornado and described it as ‘a big dark funnel moving up and down’. Roofs were torn off of barns, a trailer home was flipped over, and trees were knocked down. In addition, one poorly built house had its roof and one wall torn off, with debris thrown for over 1km, while another home had a wall torn off and was left pock-marked by debris.
