Probable tornado destroys airplane, damages houses near Cochrane
This probable tornado began about 10km west of Cochrane near Dunn Lake where it damaged a house and three garages. It also tore apart a $20K airplane and $12K mobile home. It then moved east along Highway 11, tearing at the roof of another house.
Newspapers also reported damage in the Clute area, but it is unknown if this was caused by the tornado.
The tornado likely dissipated just northeast of Cochrane, north of Highway 11.
