Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 3:00 am MDT, which shows a low pressure system on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border.

Eight tornadoes occurred on this day, the other tornadoes were:

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F1 tornado touched down at 2:30 am MDT near Clive, AB. The path and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC.
