Etobicoke, ON F0 Tornado of September 16, 1988

This tornado stuck just northeast of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport at around 5:30pm. A factory received damage to its roof with roofing material peeled back and torn off.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 5:30 pm EDT in Etobicoke, ON and travelled for 400 metres. The tornado caused no injuries or fatalities, but caused $75 thousand dollars of property damage.
