Vaughan, ON F0 Tornado of June 17, 1999

This probable tornado touched down at 1:45pm without causing any damage. Witnesses reported seeing a rope tornado that was briefly on the ground. Coincidentally, this was the second tornado to touch down near Maple within two weeks; the other occurred on June 2.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 1:45 pm EDT in Vaughan, ON. The path and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC. The tornado caused no fatalities, injuries or property damage.
