Touching down at about 4:15 pm, the tornado travelled for 10 kilometres and had a width of about 200 metres. Along its path it produced light damage, including uprooted trees, downed power poles to a house where the chimney was knocked off. Environment Canada damage surveyors estimated the damage to be around $20,000.
Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 2:00 pm EDT, which shows a stationary front across eastern Ontario. This stationary boundary acted as the focus for thunderstorms and ultimately this F0 tornado.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 4:15 pm EDT near Hazzards Corner, ON. The tornado travelled for 10 km with a maximum width of 200 metres. The tornado caused no fatalities or injuries, but caused $20 thousand dollars in property damage.
