At 11:30 am, the tornado touched down briefly, knocking over an old barn and scattering debris. Its path was only 200 metres long and 6 metres wide. Witnesses described a barrel-shaped condensation funnel with a swirl of dust and debris at its base.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 11:30 am EDT near Franktown, ON. The tornado travelled for 200 metres with a maximum width of 10 metres. The tornado caused no fatalities, injuries or property damage.
