Fort Assiniboine, AB F0 Tornado of August 2, 1989

Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 12:00 pm MDT, which shows an occluding low pressure over Central Alberta, which ultimately resulted in a tornado outbreak across Alberta.

Three tornadoes occurred on this day:

Busby, AB F1 Tornado
Mulhurst, AB F1 Tornado

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 12:30 pm MDT near Fort Assiniboine, AB. The path and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC.
