Tornado touches down in forest near Wenasaga Lake, 1km swath of damaged trees
About 100km north of Dryden and just to the north of Ear Falls, near Wenasaga Lake, this F1 tornado snapped and uprooted trees in a path that was a kilometre long and 300m wide.
This was one of four tornadoes that touched down on August 16, 2011. The others occurred at Gerry Lake (F1), Lac Seul (F1) and Dryden (F1).
