EF2 tornado strikes Lebanon area with extensive damage to trees and outbuildings
This tornado caused EF2 damage to rural properties near Lebanon, a small community east of Listowel. It touched down at 8:55pm and was on the ground for 5km with a path that was 50m wide. Several grain silos were tilted over and one of them destroyed, the top portion of the structure torn away. A barn also had its roof torn off and, at one property, a sailboat was picked up and deposited in a line of trees. All along the path trees were snapped and uprooted and houses suffered minor damage.
