Witnesses watch as F1 cone tornado touches down, travels 20km & decimates forest
The F1 tornado from Bancroft to Carlow Mayo, Ontario. A funnel cloud was observed by witnesses as the tornado touched down at around 9:45pm. It travelled for 19km, leaving entire swaths of forest decimated.
This was oneĀ of nineteen tornadoes that struck Southern and Central Ontario on August 20. Other tornadoes this day:
