Damaging F2 tornado strikes farms, travels through Eastern Ontario into Quebec
Touching down in the early afternoon, at around 1:20 pm, this long-track but narrow tornado was on the ground for over 50 kilometres. Leaving a path of damage that was 60 metres wide, the tornado struck several farms; barns were destroyed, silos knocked over and trees snapped. The tornado passed near Cobden and travelled all the way to near Shawville, Quebec.
