EF1 tornado hits Laurel Station area, leaves significant damage to homes & trees


Touching down at around 3:30 pm near Laurel Station, this EF1 tornado caused considerable damage to trees and houses. Numerous trees were downed, one house sustained roof damage and another was shifted off of its foundation. In addition, an RV was moved several metres. The tornado travelled for 7 kilometres and had a width of 150 metres, with winds estimated to be between 135 and 175 kilometres per hour.
