Tornado hits farms & town, does minor damage to trees, barns, homes & buildings
F1 damage occurred near the start of this tornado’s 5km track, on the Bender Farm, where the roof was torn off of a barn. The remainder of the damage was F0 and included minor damage to trees, sheds and homes. At the Tavistock Board of Trade building in town, shingles were torn from the roof and a chimney toppled onto a car. The tornado struck at about 5:45pm.
