EF1 tornado hits Udney, damaging rural properties and tearing apart local park
This tornado struck the Udney area, touching down at around 6:45pm. It was spawned from a pre-frontal storm that developed well ahead of a line of storms along an advancing cold front.
The tornado tracked through rural properties, including one farm that was extensively damaged. There, trees were snapped and a barn and a shed were both demolished. The tornado also struck and caused severe damage at a local park; trees were snapped and uprooted, fencing at the ball diamond twisted, and the clubhouse torn apart with its debris scattered.
