The Clairville-Vaughan Mills Tornado

Weak tornado damages roofs, downs power lines and trees in Vaughan

The final tornado to occur on May 2, 1983 first touched down around 3:30 in the Clairville section of Woodbridge. This tornado was weak like the other two that happened in the vicinity. At least three buildings and a silo had roofing material removed, and trees, TV aerials, and trailers were knocked over. It likely touched down intermittently over a distance of 10km and lifted off completely near Vaughan Mills.
