Small tornado uproots trees, damages homes and barns south of Strathroy
This tornado touched down about 4km south of Strathroy near the crossroads of Cairngorm. Seen as a funnel-shaped cloud by at least one local, it traveled east across the 9th, 8th, and 7th concessions of Caradoc Township where it caused damage to at least 6 properties. This included a shed blown down, pool damaged, trailer overturned, shingles off houses, TV aerials knocked down, and many uprooted or broken trees. It maintained a width between 10-20m and was on the ground for about 4.3km before lifting off around Highway 81.
