The Destructive Exeter Tornado (DONE)


Tornado tracks 8km through Stephen Township, wrecks barn, destroys part of house


This moderate tornado was observed by residents of Crediton, southwest of Exeter, who saw a funnel cloud and heard a distinct rumbling, roaring noise. The tornado touched down just before 7:00pm and was seen tracking to the east-northeast through Stephen Township. Along it’s 8km path, it unroofed and severely damaged a barn and blew away the back end of a farmhouse, which was used as a kitchen. Many trees were uprooted and broken as well.
