Tornado spins up at Nursey Lake, damages forest on long track to the east
This tornado was discovered by researchers with the Northern Tornadoes Project, along with three other previously-unknown tornadoes that occurred on June 17. It was the third of the four tornadoes to rip through the region southeast of Timmins. It spun up near Nursey Lake and then caused extensive damage to forest as it ripped to the east. Its was path was around twenty kilometres in length.
