Large rain-wrapped tornado skirts Dalston, causes minor tree and property damage
At about 2:00 pm, half an hour after the tornado at Elmvale, this EF0 tornado touched down near Dalston, north of Barrie. It travelled for 4.5 km with width of 500m, uprooting or snapping dozens of trees and damaging the cap of a silo. Eyewitness video of the tornado showed a dark, wide tornado, bowl-shaped and wrapped in rain. This was one of three tornadoes that touched down on May 21, 2013. The others:

Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 11:00 am EDT, which shows a stationary front across southern Ontario with a low pressure over Midland. This front became the focus for intense thunderstorms, which led to three tornadoes across southern Ontario on this day.
