Crossfield, AB F0 Tornado of July 6, 1990

Airdrie - Cochrane - Olds - Sundre


Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 12:00 pm MDT, which shows a low pressure system across Southeastern Alberta with a trough of low pressure across Southern Alberta extending westward.

There were three tornadoes on this day, the others being:

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 1:40 pm MDT near Crossfield, AB. The path and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC.
