London, ON F0 Tornado of August 1, 2000

London - Middlesex


No damage was caused by this tornado but witnesses reported observing the misty-looking twister just outside of the city. Reportedly it oscillated in form between a multiple vortex and a cone, and was captured in photos by witnesses. Photographs show a large, dark tornado, fully condensed to the ground.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 3:00 pm EDT near London, ON. The path and width of tornado was not documented by ECCC. The tornado caused no fatalities, injuries or property damage.
