No notable damage was produced as this EF0 tornado touched down briefly near Norwich at around 4:00 pm. Canwarn spotters reported the tornado and captured photos and videos of the twister, a dusty landspout that passed over area fields.

Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 2:00 pm EDT, which shows an ongoing thunderstorm along a cold front moving across southern Ontario. This ongoing thunderstorm near Norwich (marked by a red ‘R’) was responsible for a brief landspout tornado in the afternoon hours of July 7th.
