Limited information has been gathered concerning this tornado however, some basic facts are known. Residents near Obonga Lake reported hearing a roaring freight train sound as this tornado tracked through the area. A photo in a local newspaper showed a tornadic damage pattern through the woods which confirmed a tornado had indeed occurred.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F1 tornado touched down near Obonga Lake, ON. The length and width of the tornado was not documented. The tornado caused no injuries, casualties or property damage.
