Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 2:00 am EDT, which shows a pair of cold fronts moving across the northeast United States. The cold front over the Great Lakes eventually moved east toward Massachusetts and triggered thunderstorms, which ultimately led to this tornado.

The Plymouth County, MA F2 tornado of November 18, 1967 impacted Plymouth County in Massachusetts. According to NOAA (2019), the F2 tornado caused no fatalities or injuries, but caused $250 dollars in property damage. The tornado touched down near Thompson Street at 9:15 pm EDT. The tornado travelled for 0.1 mile and had a maximum width of 17 yards.
