St. Albert, AB F1 Tornado of July 30, 1987

Figure 1 depicts the surface observations at 12:00 pm MDT, which shows a stationary front across Northern Alberta. This front became the focus for thunderstorms across Central Alberta, which ultimately led to five tornadoes on this day.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F1 tornado touched down at 5:45 pm MDT in St. Albert, AB. The path and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC.
