Witnesses observed a rope tornado touching down for about thirty seconds. This probable tornado struck at 6:40 pm but caused no damage.
Figure 1 shows the surface observations at 5:00 pm EDT, which depicts a stationary front across southern Ontario. This front became the focus for thunderstorms and ultimately this F0 tornado.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (2018), an F0 tornado touched down at 6:40 pm EDT near Stratford, ON. The track and width of the tornado was not documented by ECCC. The tornado caused no fatalities, injuries or property damage.
