Wellington, ON F0 Tornado of September 22, 2012

Prince Edward County

Another rare morning tornado, this F0 hit at 6:20 am near Highway 33 and Regional Road 2 in Wellington. The path was very short, just 60m to 70m long and about 15m wide, and it is believed that the tornado may have originated as a waterspout that came ashore and caused damage at two properties. Lawn furniture and a picnic table were thrown dozens of metres, and a heavy deck was moved from its foundation.
