Storms developed along a wind-shift boundary across South Central and Southeast Kansas. While a few storms were severe, the overall threat was low. The best photo of the day happened to be the sun setting with some mid-level cloud debris left over from the shower and storms.
The Storm Prediction Center did paint a “Slight” risk across the region – and a few storms on the Kansas side did produce dime to nickel sized hail. Overall – a low impact chase day, but fun to get out and see some clouds.
