2022 Chase Season, Here we come! — Jordan Carruthers

The 2022 Chase season is nearly upon us, and for the first time in 2 years we are returning to The Great Plains of the USA for an entire month of chasing across “Tornado Alley”

On April 30th, Kurtis Fafard and I will be departing from Canada in H3LICITY, I have spent the past few weeks getting her ready for her USA Debut! Brakes, Oil, Tires, Etc. have all been done and she now sits patiently in the driveway waiting to hit the road!

After our May “Chasecation” We will be returning to the Canadian Prairies and Northern Plains of the USA for the rest of our chase season from June through August!

Our live stream will be up during every chase, so you can follow all of the action! Just visit Highwaysandhailstones.com and click on Live Map and you will be able to see exactly where we and every other chaser that’s using H&H is, and what we are seeing! We are very excited to share this chase season with all of you, and cant wait to see what this season has in store for us!

Raised in Portage la Prairie, MB I became interested in severe weather when I was a kid, and it gradually became a full-time Passion, I started my Facebook page "Manitoba Storm Chasers" in 2015 as a place for me to share my photos and videos, and it quickly blew up into a page with over 50,000 followers, I then expanded into Youtube, Twitter, and other social media, and also began running Storm Chasing Tours, both locally and abroad Which now run under the name "Vorticity Storm Tours" and can be found at www.vorticitystormtours.com. The Covid-19 Pandemic forced me to leave my full-time job in 2020, And that was when I made the decision to put my heart and soul into my storm chasing and my weather forecasting full time, and turn it from a passion into a career, I am currently starring in a storm chasing TV series called "Under The Meso" on WCGtv out of Western Manitoba, Episode 1 premiered in early July of 2021, It has been a tough season to shoot a storm chasing show, But future episodes are in the works and will be airing soon!
